Ronin Plans to Reopen Ronin Bridge After Second External Audit

Axie Infinity’s sidechain Ronin Network announced that Ronin Bridge has completed both an internal and external audit led by Verichains Lab. To strengthen security, the second external audit led by blockchain security company CertiK is underway. This audit is expected to take 15 days. If the audit is passed, the cross-chain bridge Ronin Bridge will be reopened in mid-June. In March, there was a security breach in the Ronin Network, resulting in the loss of a total of 173,600 ETH and 25.5 million USDC from the Ronin Bridge.

According to Glassnode, the percentage of ETH profitable addresses is 57.31%, reaching a 22-month low. Bitcoin price is almost flat during the weekend, and it has been trading in a tight range between $28,500 and $30,000 over the past 2.5 weeks. Ongoing sideways trading is also confirmed by the low volume, which means that neither bulls or bears are dominating.
