Bison Bank becomes the First Crypto Bank in Portugal

Portugal-based financial institution Bison Bank has received a virtual asset service provider (VASP) operating license from the Portuguese central bank, making it the first bank in the country to be given the green light by the regulator. Bison Bank will create virtual asset exchange Bison Digital Assets, which is also the fifth licensed virtual asset exchange in the country. According to its website, Bison Bank provides wealth management, depository and investment banking services to both individual and institutional clients.

According to Yahoo, an Investopedia survey of 4,000 investors across the US found that 38 percent of millennials own some form of cryptocurrency, and 28 percent expect cryptocurrency to help them in their retirement. BTC and most major altcoins have been roughly flat during the holiday period from Good Friday onward. On-chain data shows that the Bitcoin network has not witnessed many transactions recently. There will be an important test of the $40,000 level again this week. If the price breaks above $41,000, the bulls will attempt to push the BTC /USDT pair above the 20-day exponential moving average ($42,175).
