Ethereum Goerli Testnet is Scheduled for Shanghai Upgrade on March 14

Ethereum developers plan to complete the Shanghai upgrade (also known as Shapella) on the Goerli testnet on March 14. During Thursday’s execution layer 156 meeting, Ethereum core developers showed a general consensus that Ethereum’s main blockchain would receive a Shapella refurbishment Goerli, which means that the staked ETH withdrawals will take place in April, a slight delay from the March schedule originally set by Ethereum developers. Earlier this week, the Ethereum Sepolia testnet successfully simulated the “Shanghai upgrade,” and Ethereum developers said every running smoothly.

Bitcoin is down 4.85% over the last 24 hours and fell to an intraday low of $21,971.13. The largest cryptocurrency plumped due to concerns about the solvency of crypto bank Silvergate. The negative divergence on the relative strength index (RSI) markets suggests the is weakening. Currently, the market is valuing the impact of the solvency issue of Silvergate and if the outcome is worse than expected, we could see additional sell-off and the BTC/USDT pair could drop to $21,000.
