Multiple U.S. Lawmakers Have Surrendered FTX Donations to Marshals at the Direction of the Country’s Justice Department

The US Department of Justice has instructed lawmakers to donate FTX funds to American law enforcement. Bob Latta, a Republican congressman from Ohio, stated that his campaign team voluntarily surrendered the funds shortly after receiving the DOJ’s notification. The transactions appear to have taken place earlier this year. A spokesperson confirmed that FTX donations to support the campaign of Lori Chavez-DeRemer, a Republican candidate in Ohio, were also turned over. Multiple reports indicate that Representatives Marc Molinaro (R-NY), Elise Stefanik (R-NY), and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Penn.) have also surrendered FTX-related donations to US law enforcement.

BTC showed a weaker performance compared to ETH in the past few days. After a failed rebound attempt, BTC started oscillating downwards following a peak near $27,200. It then entered a range-bound phase, touching the lower boundary of the previous range in the evening. In the early hours, it experienced an upward oscillation, reaching around $27,500. The key question now is whether BTC can break through the $27,500 level and potentially test $28,000. Otherwise, further oscillation is likely. The market remains in a state of uncertainty, suggesting cautious trading within the range until a breakout occurs.
