Despite a solid close for US stocks on Wednesday ahead of Thanksgiving, a series of other signs this week showed that this year’s mania for risky assets was hitting a bump in the road, with high-valued tech stocks tumbling and cryptocurrency markets in turmoil. Caution is on the rise, with investors selling. Recent declines in Bitcoin and other parts of the cryptocurrency ecosystem have been linked to a sell-off in risky growth stocks. All this may be revolving around a risk-off environment. Although the BTC price has risen in the short term, it still has the risk of falling if it cannot stand firm at $60,000 in the long term.
