Today’s Cryptocurrency Headline

Cryptocurrency custody service provider BitGo has released a Bitcoin Ordinals inscription tracking feature aimed at increasing the security of inscription storage. Users will be able to add this feature to any Bitcoin hot wallet on BitGo. Once tracking is enabled, all received transactions will be checked for the presence of inscriptions. If inscriptions are found, the transaction will be frozen to prevent the loss of valuable inscriptions. Bitcoin Ordinals launched at the end of January. As of now, there are over 600,000 inscriptions.

In the past 24 hours, Bitcoin has witnessed a 1.71% drop, reaching an intraday low of $27,686.00. The leading cryptocurrency achieved an intraday high of $29,184.68 earlier today, but couldn’t sustain above this level, indicating that sellers continue to be active at higher prices. The rising 20-day exponential moving average, together with the relative strength index approaching overbought territory, suggests that market sentiment remains strong. If the BTC/USDT pair manages to hold its ground above the $28,000 mark, there is potential for it to ascend to $30,000.
